(More customer reviews)I own 3 knives from the Mundial future set: This one, the 7" santuko and the 10" serrated knife. These are all I need for anything I do at home. They are incredibly sharp and durable and hold their edge well if you are willing to use your steel and sharpening stone regularly. I do just about any of my prep work with my Santuko though there are a few jobs that this paring knife just works better for such as fine dicing of smaller items or cleaning produce like tomatoes or slicing things that just don't sit on a cutting board well.
The weight and balance of this set is perfect for me. Anytime I am going somewhere where I am planning to cook I bring my set with me in my carrying case. I use can't stand the feel of most cutlery anymore. If you are a home cook this set will do anything you want. If you are a professional cook this is a good starter set. The grip can be a little hard on your finger and thumb after extended (hours) use. Other than that I am very happy with these knives and the next piece of the set I am considering buying is the shears.
