(More customer reviews)I really wanted to love this knife.It was priced right.It was one piece, meaning no separate handle to potentially come loose over the years.I purchased two of these knives and have used them daily for the past three months.I use them to chop and cut vegetables and fruits, primarily.After about two months they seemed to lose their sharpness.I have an old, small, inexpensive knife sharpener from Pampered Chef.I've used it before on all my knives, mostly cheapie knives.I just noticed today that both my Giada knives have small "chips" in the sharp cutting edge.I don't know what has caused this, whether it is an inferior product or my knife sharpener.I do know that my sharpener has never done this before and can't imagine it could chip off a piece of metal off my knives.Perhaps it did.In any case I can't give this product a better ratiing because I don't feel like the metal edge should be "chipping off" in a knife just 3 months old.And as I stated, both knives started to lose their sharpness after two months anyway.Sorry!I really wanted to love these knives!They were perfect at first...
